The petition is filed to challenge the validity of Rule 9(a)(i) and (b) of the Jharkhand High Court (Right to Information) Rules, 2007 which puts vague conditions for supply of the information. The Rule requires the applicant to provide a positive assertion that the information is being sought for a proper and legal motive. The petition has been admitted by the court.
