Two members of the Air India Cabin Crew were arrested by the Cyber cell of Mumbai police under Sections 66A and 67 of It Act.
The men, named Mayank Mohan Sharma and KVJ Rao, had allegedly shared lewd jokes about politicians, made derogatory comments against the Prime Minister and insulted the national flag through their Facebook posts.
The two were arrested late in night and were questioned till morning while the police seized their laptops, passports and mobile phones and prevented them from even making calls. They were kept in custody for twelve days and later released on bail.
