The FIR was lodged by Babuji Shah, adoptive son of Gangubai Kathiawadi, for staying the release of the movie titled ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ on the grounds that it is defamatory in nature and an infringement on his right to privacy, self respect and liberty. The Hon’ble Court dismissed the petition.
