The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) published a report on ‘AI Governance and Guidelines Development’ (the “Report”) on 6th January 2025. The Report provides actionable recommendations concerning AI governance in India. SFLC.in recognises the efforts of the Government of India to build discourse and invite comments on the Report, and makes the following recommendations as below.
