Tracking Use of AI by Political Parties in India

As the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections are underway, we are registering an uptick in the number of instances where various political parties – both regional and national are increasingly using generative AI tools to their aid. The use of AI tools to push their campaigning efforts is being seen in all types of medium – audio, video and images; across platforms.
Here we have collated a list of such instances by different political parties in India. This list is non-exhaustive.
