Job Description
SFLC.in is inviting applications for the post of Tech Research Assistant (2). Engineering Students currently studying and enrolled in their 2nd year of study (out of a 4 year course) or above, preferably in the field of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE) are encouraged to apply.
About the Work:
The work is project-based, dealing with the granting of software patents in India and its techno-legal consequences. It is a paid position which will last for a period of 2 months from 16 May, 2022 to 16 July, 2022, and may be extended if SFLC.in deems fit. A Tech Research Assistant is supposed to work for 20-25 hours in a week. The TRA may work remotely, although their physical presence would be preferred at SFLC.in’s office at New Delhi.
Required skills:
Experience or interest in working on Patents, especially Software Patents is required. Prior experience of working on Patent law and knowledge of the Indian Patent Act is preferred.
