An FIR was filed against a person for making a funny post on Facebook captioned “Trip to Sirumalai for shooting practice”. The matter came before the court when police appealed a Judicial Magistrate’s decision to not allow remand of the accused. The Hon’ble Madras HIgh Court disposed off the petition without invoking any provision against the accused.
