Software Freedom Law Centre, India (SFLC.in) is looking for a talented illustrator intern to create original, engaging and innovative artworks for our blog and social media. Apply now if you are passionate about art and are willing to contribute to defend digital rights of Indian citizens.

About SFLC.in:
SFLC.in is the first Indian legal services organization that works exclusively on technology, law, and policy. Founded in 2010, SFLC.in specializes in the areas of Digital Privacy, Surveillance, Cyber Security, Free & Open Source Software (FOSS) and more. We believe that the internet should be open, secure and safe for all. We run the first and only real-time internet shutdown tracker at internetshutdowns.in to track all the instances of internet shutdowns in India in absence of government data.
We have been actively working to bridge the gap between the public, civil society organizations and lawmakers by conducting public discussions about technology and policy by ensuring access for all.
About the Internship:
As an illustrator at SFLC.in, you are expected to:
- Have working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photo Shop
- Have hand drawing as well as digital illustration skills
- Contribute with illustrations for SFLC.in’s social media strategy
- Work closely with the communications team to come up with creative ideas for visuals.
You will receive:
- Monthly stipend based on work
- Opportunity to participate in SFLC.in’s events, training sessions, interactions, and projects
- Association with SFLC.in beyond the term of formal affiliation
Who should apply?
We welcome applications from students pursuing a Master’s or a Bachelor’s degree. New graduates are also welcome. Applicants with academic background in visual art, graphic design or media will be given preference.
